The Wind serves to bring churches together in the greater Portland area for fellowship and inspiration that is centered on the Word of God, prayer, and worship. The Wind focuses on helping individuals and churches cultivate relationship with God in order to fulfill their purpose and calling.

11:45 is the pragmatic arm of The Wind. 11: 45 seeks to engage the church to be involved in helping meet the needs of the community. 11:45 provides strategic outlets for church and community members to network serve our city.

No, you do not need to participate in The Wind to serve with 11:45. However, if you enjoy serving on 11:45, you will definitely enjoy attending The Wind Services!

3. Can a non-church member participate in 11:45?

The original intent of 11:45 was to mobilize the church for community action. Even though that was the goal, we have always had non-church members who serve. Everyone who has a heart to help our city and community is welcomed to serve.

4. What is the relationship between 11:45 and other city agencies?

There are many good agencies working in our city to stop violence and better the lives of our youth and children. 11:45 mobilizes the community of faith to work and stand with all the good work done by like hearted organizations that is occurring in our city to change the lives of our youth.
